We finished the notes on the notebook file from Thursday.

1.  We proved the Isosceles Triangle Theorem.  (4.6 in your book)  This is a shortcut name that you can use. You can also write this theorem by saying, “base angles of an isosceles triangle are congruent.”

2.  Theorem 4.7 in your book is the converse of Theorem 4.6.  It says that:  If two angles of a triangle are congruent, then the sides opposite those angles are congruent.  We proved this theorem.

3.  There are two corollaries that follow:  there are in your notes.   Learn them.  If a triangle is equilateral, then it is also equiangular.  Each angle in an equilateral triangle has a measure of 60 degrees.

4.  Complete the study guide 4.6   HW in the book p.  224-225 as listed in notebook file.
